Nethernet Netiquette

From The Nethernet Wiki

[edit] Netiquette: What is Acceptable?

Image:Icon bulb on 043.png Here's a tip: If you loot more than one Crate or DP Card from the same Benefactor within 20 minutes, one thank you is probably sufficient.

Image:Icon bulb on 043.png Taking DP Cards: what's acceptable?

When you find multiple cards on a single page or even one card on every page of a website... A player should be courteous and take one and leave the rest for the next player.
Avoid temptation, it is probably a trap. When you find an entire stack of DP Cards, it generally means that the player that left them was too lazy to hand them out one-at-a-time, but expects you to understand and only take one.
If you take several, you fall into the trap of being considered rude and greedy. This allows the giver the "right" to punish you with a few dozen mines on your profile.
Send a Thank You. It's only an extra click and sometimes rewarded with a personal crate or at least puts you in good standing with the giver.
the exception here is of course, when someone plays DP cards on your profile.

If you don't want one player to hog a bunch of crates you've left, leave an Ever Crate (available to Level 10 Benefactors)

Generally, you should never take offense to being grenaded, or nicked.
Realize it's a part of the game, not a form of internet bullying.
Don't whine to the player that is nicking or nading you. That will make them do it even more.
