[edit] How to change your Avatar

If you would like to replace the Shoat avatar on your profile page...

Start with a picture of the Avatar you'd like and save it on your computer.

Go to your Profile page. You can click the icon on your toolbar to get there.

  • Click "edit profile" link under your avatar picture.
  • Scroll Down to "Change Your Avatar" and click to open and click the "Change your Avatar" link.
  • On the Upload an Avatar page, click the "Browse" button
    • Select an image on your computer to be uploaded.
  • Click the "Create" button.
    • After a while it will tell you image successfully uploaded
  • Fiddle with the cropping guidelines until you are satisfied with the Crop Preview.
  • Click the "Crop" button
    • Your new avatar will probably show up in the forums right away. It may take up to 24 hours to see it on your profile page... be patient.

  • Create a graphic 175 pixels square.
